Blast From The Past no. 40 (05/03/2019)
Three for the price of one this week. There was clearly a bit of a photoshoot going on here, as I discovered several very similar shots. These were all shot on the same roll of Agfachrome film, scanned and processed in Lightroom and Photoshop - mainly to remove blemishes (on the film, not Rachael) and improve the colour balance.
My favorite of the three.

Not a great sports photograph, but possibly my most notable subject: the Prime Minister of Pakistan turning his arm over for Sussex at Horsham on 2nd June 1985 in a Sunday League fixture against Nottinghamshire. Clive Rice facing with Chris Broad at the non-striker's end. Looks like Dermot Reeve fielding at mid-wicket. Scanned from an unknown transparency. Details of the match here.

One for St. Valentine's Day - Sonia and I on our honeymoon in June 1990 at Lake Garda (when selfies required a tripod). Shot on Kodacolor Gold 100.

Something a little bit more pastoral for a change - a bluebell wood at Chartwell in Kent, shot in April 2002 on Kodachrome.
Scan of the original Kodachrome slide. I've increased the contrast, done a little dodging and burning to even out the exposure and "blued" the bluebells themselves to make them a little less purple.

In March 1995 Richard broke his forearm falling from a climbing frame. Here he is looking pleased with his cast (and his face-painting). Scanned from an Agfachrome transparency.

After a short break over Christmas here's an Agfachrome transparency of Mum from November 1994 - so around about the age I will shortly be myself.
