Blast From The Past No. 80 (26/05/2020)
Well, this wonderful lady and I were supposed today to be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary in Helsinki, midway though a cruise of the Baltic. Alas, that was not to be. Nevertheless, I'm more than happy to be locked up at home with her instead, with a take-way meal and a bottle of Champagne (thanks Barbara - it arrived safely). Here's Sonia in Competa, Spain in July 2002. Shot on Kodachrome and converted to black & white.

Happy Birthday to Jen, seen here doing a bit of gardening at Grandma and Grandad's bungalow in 1994 (probably during Autumn half-term). Shot on Agfa Portrait 160, with the colour given a bit of a boost.

Not much sport to be seen at present so here's a shot from Sale v. Pontypool in April 1986. On the left, I believe is legendary Welsh prop forward, Graham Price. The Sale players (I'm reliably informed) are from the front: Martin Callery, Ian Bullough, Ian McKie, and Pete Sherratt. Shot on Ilford HP5.

This young fellow is going to be missing out on his stag weekend due to coronavirus, so here he is enjoying some fun and games at Littlehaven Infants School Sports Day in July 2000. Shot on Kodak Gold 200.

I've no idea when I'll next be in Spain, so here is a sunset over the Sierra Almijara near Competa from July 2002. Shot on Kodachrome.

Not something you'll see at present, but here is Lyme Regis seafront at the height of the holiday season in August 2004. I recall we were there during the Athens Summer Olympics (something else that won't be happening this year). A good one for looking at the detail. I can't remember, but are any of us in the picture? Is that our white Ford Mondeo parked in the middle? Shot on Fujichrome slide film.

Social distancing 1980-style. In retrospect, I was pretty careless handing over my Dad's Pentax ME to someone, in the dark, on a boat somewhere on the Thames after clearly some drink having been taken. Must have felt fine at the time! Shot on Kodacolor CII on 27th June, 1980.

Many children this year will have missed their Easter Bonnet Parades, so here are Nadia, Rachael and Maxine at Littlehaven Infant School in March 1997. Shot on Kodak Gold 200. I've taken the liberty of using some more up to date technology to remove the distracting lad on the left.
